Fighting for playoff place

The intermediate round has started and Znojmo already have one win in one games (3:2 as visitors against Villach). The team have the potential to fight for one of the two places that will guarantee a playoff place at the end of this intermediate round and the three points tomorrow against the poor Jesenice are absolutely compulsory. Znojmo didn`t finish regular season with good results, but the vital win away from home in the first round here will give the team the needed strength to do the this hard job. Still Znojmo is playing good at home and won five of their last seven games here.

Gets weaker and weaker

As I wrote in my preview for the last game of Jesenice (1:4 against Vienna Capitals) the team is not in condition to fight with the rest of the teams and most probably they won`t win anything in this intermediate round if the other team need a win. Jesenice lost their last eight games in a row and in all of them they lost with at least two goals difference. The team also lost their last thirteen away games in EBEL.

Home win with handicap

I`m taking this bet earlier, because in my opinion the odds will drop until tomorrow and the line for handicap will most probably move to -2.5. Every point and every goal in this intermediate round will be vital and this is really bad news for the poor Jesenice, because they will concede a lot of goals in the coming games. 1.62 for just two goals difference here is great price in this game and that`s why I`ll try it with the highest stake. Znojmo won all four games (one after over time) against Jesenice so far this season and in two of them they beat them with two or more goals difference.
