Great at home

Wolfsburg again made a lot of transfer this winter and it`s just a matter of time before the team start playing better in the Bundesliga. They are currently on tenth position of the table, but way behind the places that gives a place in Europe next season. However, Wolfburg is doing pretty well at home this season and have just two defeats so far (6-2-2). The team is also on a run of five straight games at "VOLKSWAGEN ARENA" without a defeat (3-2-0) and didn`t concede a goal in their last three. Felix Magath won`t be able to use Alexander Madlung (12/1), Jan Polak (6/0), Thomas Hitzlsperger (5/0) and Michael Schulze (2/0) for this game, but after all the transfers the coach now have enough players for even two good teams.

Concedes a lot of goals

Freiburg is the team that had conceded the most amount of goals in the Bundesliga this season (44 in just 20 games). They are playing really bad as visitors (1-2-6) and also have just one win in their last eight Bundesliga games (1-4-3) at home against Augsburg. Freiburg sold their best player Cisse (19/10) to Newcastle two weeks ago, so now will find it very difficult to cope without him in the attack. Julian Schuste (16/0) and Mensur Mujdza (6/0) will also be out for this game.

Home win

Wlfsburg spend a lot of money this winter, so the team will have no excuse if they don`t manage to get the three points against the last team in the division, especially when the game will be played at " VOLKSWAGEN ARENA", where the team is feeling really comfortable. Wolfsburg have only one defeat in their last five home games against this opponent (3-1-1).
