Sochaux continues to show really bad display in their games and they are is still currently on the bottom of the table. The team have won just three points in their last eleven games (0-3-8) and this nightmare is not about to be over really soon. In the weekend Sochaux didn`t manage to score even against the other team from the relegation zone Auxerre and the game was even played at "Auguste Bonal". Coach Bazdarevic has a lot of problems with injured players for this game. Sebastien Roudet (11/0), Carlao (13/0), Sebastien Corhia (18/0), Jeremie Brechet (5/0), Modibo Maiga (12/4) and Teddy Richert (19/0) are all out.

Need a win

Lille managed to win a really important game this weekend as visitors against Lorient (1:0) and this victory was vital not only for the points, but also for the moral of the players, because of that incredible defeat with 4:5 against Bordeaux at home in the previous round. Now the team is on third place of the table and with three points on Wednesday they will not only make a good difference between them and the other, who are fighting for Champins League place, but will also make the difference between them and league leaders PSG just six points. Lille got eliminated from all other tournaments already, so Ligue 1 is the only thing that they play for right now, so the team have some advantage over the other in this conditions. Marko Basa (13/2) and Tulio de Melo (4/0) are the only two missing for the team.

Away win

Lille without any question is the more capable team. The champions will fight until the end and will try to finish at least in the top three at the end of the season. Sochaux on other hand is on a free fall right now and I really can’t see how the team will manage to bounce back and avoid relegation this season. Five of the last seven visits for Lille at “Auguste-Bonal” finished with no winner (1-5-1), but the situation now is completely different and the champions will get the three points in this game.
