Very good at home

Sheffield Wed. is very good at home. They have eight victories in ten home games and only Sheffield Utd is better. So, I believe they able to beat poor Tranmere. In the last round Sheffiled won 2:0 against Preston. The victory is even more valuable as it was obtain away from home. Danny Batth and Ben Marshall were the scorers and I am sure the players confidence is now even bigger. Now Sheffield Wed is on the third position and I am sure they will be very motivated on this match.

Many problems

Tranmere have many problems for this match. They will be missing the first goalkeeper Williams, the defender Goodison, the midfielder Welsh and the striker Showunmi. So, Tranmere will be without four players and it is clear they will be very handicapped on this match. But there is something more. Tranmere is in very bad away form, loosing the last three matches. They lost from Stevenage, Exeter and Scunthorpe.

Hosts are closer to the victory

I think the hosts are closer to the victory. The first reason is connect with the current form. While Sheffield Wed is excellent at home, Tranmere is in series of three consecutive defeats on road. Next, Tranmere will miss four players for this match. I already wrote Williams, Goodison, Welsh and Showunmi are out. Finally, Sheffield won the last two mutual games against Tranmere at home. Last season they won 4:0 (05.04.2011), while before that won 4:2 (27.08.2004). As You can see Sheffild cover the handicap on both games. I believe they will win with at least two goals once again.
