This is a very important match for San Martin in relegation battle. They are in solid form at the moment, with two victories (over Santa Fe and Olimpo)) and two draws (with Newell`s Old Boys and All Boys). The players confidence is surely high at the moment and I think they will continue with the good results. The coach Daniel Oscar Garnero has almost all players available as only Marcelo Carrusca is injured. But that`s not a problem as Carrusca is a long term injury victim.

Many absences

San Lorenzo have many absences for this match. Five players are injured and won`t play here: Diego Martinez, Gaston Aguirre, Gonzalo Bazan, Juan Carlos Menseguez and Pablo Migliore. But that`s not all as three more players are rated as doubtful: Carlos Nahuel Benítez, Aureliano Torres and Cristian Tula. San Lorenzo is in bad form at the moment as they have three defeats in the last five matches.

Hosts should win

I think the hosts are closer to the victory here. First of all, they are playing at home and that`s an important advantage. San Martin is among the best hosts in Apertura. On contrary, San Lorenzo away form isn`t something special. But the next reason is even more important.
