Rennes is still in the top six in Ligue 1, despite their recent bad results in the league (2-2-3). In the end of January the team lost at home for the first time (4-5-1) against Marseille (1:2), but today they are up against one of the weakest teams in France right now, so everything else than three points here will be a very dissapointing result. Rennes have really nice programm at "De la Route" until the end of the season. The teams have to play against Lille and Lyon and all the other games are against teams that are behind them in the table. A good run in all those games can rasily secure the team a place in Europe next season. Razak Boukari (10/2), Youssouf Hadju (16/4) and John Boye (7/0) are the more important missing in the home team for this game.

Awful shape and luck

Sochaux is in awful situation right now. The team is not only playing ugly and uneffective football, but above all that they have a lot of problems with injured and suspended players all season long. The team is currently at the bottom of the table and managed to win just two points from their last eight games in the league (0-2-6). Soshaux also have no win in their last nine games away from home (0-4-5) and scored just one goal in their last five games as visitors. Teddy Richert (19/0), Sebastien Corchia (18/0), Sebastien Roudet (11/0), Carlao (13/0), Modibo Maiga (13/4), Cedrik Bakambu (14/3) and Jeremie Brechet (5/0) are all out for the game at "de la Route" today.

Rennes just can`t miss this chance

Rennes has nine wins in their last 13 games at home against Sochaux (9-2-2). In the first game between the two teams this season Rennes just smashed their opponent with 6:2 as visitors.
