Very strong at home

Mons are so far unbeaten at home, but the lost some momentum recently, losing to Genk and Beerschot and drawing to Gent in the last three rounds. Still, RAEC have a very dangerous attacker in the shape of Perbet, who is the leading goalscorer of the Pro League so far. Mons are scoring freely at home this season and a win here will take them closer to the top 6. Mons are 4-3-0 at home this season with 20:10 goal difference.

Very strange team

At one point this season Lierse were having a 0-6-3 record and they suddenly earned a win over Zulte Waregem away from home. It was followed by a home loss to last-placed Sint-Truiden and a heavy defeat to Anderlecht (4:0), while last week Lierse earned their second win of the season, beating Leuven 3:1 at home. The 0:2 win over Genk in the cup was very surprising to me, but it looks as if this Lierse team is capable of upsetting the odds in both positive and negative manner. 1-2-4 for Lierse away from home and 4:11 goal difference.

A tough game to predict

Lierse are strange bunch of guys, that are able to win here, but, on the other hand, could lose comprehensively. Mons won only 1 point from their last 3 games and will try to regain some cofidence here. RAEC have scored 20 goals in 7 home games and French striker Julien Perbet was on the scoresheet 9 times. That makes me think that @2.50 for Perbet to score is pure value and should be chased with high stakes.
