Good streak

OM have had a very slow start of the season, but now the team is firing on all cylinders and Didier Deschamps` lads are unbeaten in their last 13 games in all competitions (10 wins). They climbed up in the table, being just 1 point behind third in the rankings Lille, while on next Wednesday they will play against Inter Milano in the Champions League Round of last 16, so this should be a good opportunity to extend the unbeaten run and build up some confidence before the important games coming.

Amateur side

Bourg-Péronnas is an amateur side currently playing in the fourth tier of the French football. The small outfit made headlines last month when they eliminated first division side Ajaccio in the round of 32. This game was supposed to be played at Saint-Etienne`s Stade Geoffroy-Guichard as the venue, but the freezing temperatures forced the switch of the tie to the Vélodrome, so the amateurs will have another disadvantage.
