Finally won

After a bad run of four straight defeats from Olhanense in the last weekend the team finally managed to win a game (2:1 at home against Beira Mar) and those three points allowed them to move to ninth place of the table. Olhanense already made one great game this season (0:0 against Porto), but today they won`t take anything from Sporting. The team have even stats in their home games so far this season (3-2-3).

In a desperate need of a win

Sporting is on a bad run. The team have no win in four straight games now (0-3-1). But the problems for the team don`t end here. Their star Wolfswinkel got injured in the cup game against Nacional and will be out for a month, while in the last game against Moreirense, Valeri Bojinov acted really bad and now he`s out of the team for lack of discipline. The big summer selection however should do the job and there are players that can step up and take the leading role. After those bad run, now Sporting can fight only for third stop (three points behind Braga).

Away win

Sporting Lisbon have a lot of problem inside and outside the pitch, but still the team have the power to take the three points against a team like Olhanense. The two teams played five time over the years and the interesting thing is that the last four meeting finished with a draw.
