Possible starting line up: Ujkani; Gemiti, Lisuzzo, Centurioni, Garcia; Jensen, Pesce, Marianini; Rigoni, Mascara; Caracciolo. Novara made the biggest surprise in the previous round with a victory over Inter. But they paid the big price for that. Three important players are sidelined due to suspensions. The midfielder Ivan Radovanovic (played 16 matches and scored 1 goal), the defender Michel Morganella (played 18 matches) and another midfielder Filippo Porcari (played 21 matches and scored 1 goal) are all out. It is clear Novara coach Emiliano Mondonico will have many problems to find adequate replacements. Additionally, Carlalberto Ludi (played 9 matches) is out injured, while Paolo Dellafiore (played 14 matches) have problems with injury and he is rated as doubtful.

Possible starting line up: Consigli; Ferri, Stendardo, Lucchini, Peluso; Schelotto, Cigarini, Brighi, Moralez; Gabbiadini, Denis. This is important match for Atalanta. They have 27 points at the moment, but don`t forget they should have 33 if they weren`t punished. The defender Thomas Manfredini (played 15 matches) is suspended and it is a handicap. Additionally, Carlos Carmona, Daniele Capelli and Simone Tiribocchi are injured, but that`s not important as they all missed the previous match against Genoa which Atalanta managed to win.

Hard time for Novara

I think Atalanta won`t loose at Silvio Piola. I know lot of people are impressed by Novara victory against Inter, but I watched the match and I must admit Novara was poor. They were lucky, extremely lucky to win. And that won`t happen all the time. Now Novara is handicapped as three important players are suspended. I am sure their absence is a big handicap for the coach Mondonico. In situation like this I will give a small advantage to Atalanta. They are very good on road, earning more points then some big teams like Udinese.
