Right behind Rangers and Celtic

Possible starting line up: Randolph; Craigan, Hammell, Hutchinson, Law; Lasley, Hughes, Daley, Hateley; Higdon, Murphy. Motherwell play a good season. They are right behind two top teams in Scotland, behind Glasgow Rangers and Celtic. It is true they lost from Hearts in the previous round, but I believe this is a perfect opportunity for positive result. Steven Saunders is the only player sidelined with an injury, but that`s not a problem as he is a long injury victim. Apart from him, Steve Jennings is suspended. I expect home players to give maximum on this match as they are long period without home victory.

Without first goalkeeper

Possible starting line up: Smith; Boyle, Thomson, Keddie, Dowie; Hardie, Burns, Cardle, Willis; Graham, Barrowman. Dunfermline have lot of problems before this match. The biggest of all is the absence of the first goalkeeper Paul Gallacher. He has a shoulder injury and will skip the game. But that`s not all. Craig Easton and Kevin Rutkiewicz are also injured and most probably won`t play here. To be the situation even worse, four additional players are out injured - Austin McCann, Nick Phinn, Steven Bell and Steven McDougall.

I expect goals

I expect goals here. The last two matches between Motherwell and Dunfermline were very efficient. Motherwell won 4:2 on 27.08.2011, while before that Dunfermline won 4:1 (07.05.2007). So, 11 goals on the last 2 games are very good record. However, something else is even more important. As I already wrote, the guests will be missing the first goalkeeper Paul Gallacher due to shoulder injury. This is big handicap for them and I am sure the hosts will take advantage from that. So, Over 2.5 goals seems the best option for this match.
