Many absences

Possible starting line up: Amelia, Abate, Bonera, Thiago, Silva, Mesbah, Ambrosini, Van Bommel, Nocerino, Seedorf, El Shaarawy, Ibrahimovic. Milan coach Alegri has many absent players. Antonio Cassano, Alexandre Pato, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Alberto Aquilani, Mathieu Flamini, Alexander Merkel, Gennaro Gattuso and Alessandro Nesta are all sidelined. Zlatan Ibrahimovic received a red card against Napoli on Sunday, bet he is available for the cup. Anyway, the fact that Alegri is missing so many players is not a positive factor.

Good season for Juve

Possible starting line up: Storari, Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, De Ceglie, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Giaccherini, Borriello, Vucinic. This is a good season for Juventus. They are first in Serie A and they are in the cup semifinal. Coach Antonio Conte and the fans could be satisfied with the results. For this match Conte will miss only one players as Simone Pepe is injured. But Conte must rest some of his regulars. It is expected the first goalkeeper Gianliugi Buffon to be on the bench, just like the best striker Alessandro Matri.

I expect a low scoring match

I expect a low scoring match at San Siro. The main reason for my pick is determined by the bad weather. It is very cold this days in the whole Europe and the pitch will most probably be frozen. The second reason is connect with the last results. As You probably know, Milan failed to score against Napoli on Sunday. The match ended with goalless draw. Even more, Milan didn`t score against Lazio too. So, no goal for 180 minutes. On other side Juventus also failed to score against Siena last weekend. Finally, the first match played between Juventus and Milan this season (02.10.2011) also ended with Under 2.5 goals as Juve won 2:0.
