Great form

Marseille is in incredible shape. The team lost a game for the last time on Novermber 23, which is three months ago. This defeat was actually in the Champions League (at home against Olympiakos), but the difference between the team than and now is really different. After this defeat the team had played 15 games and have just three draws in them (12-3-0). One of those draws came in the last weekend at home against Valenciennes, but in this game Deschamps made some changes in his starting line up to rest some players for this important game against Inter. Loic Remy (21/9) will be the really big miss for the team, but Brandao, who came back at the club in January is in great form and can fill the gap.

Just awful

Inter is just awful and is playing ugly football right now. The team won just one point in their last six games (0-1-5) and concede the incredible fifteen goal in those game. But the last defeat was without any question the most surprising of all (0:3 against Bologna at home). But the problems are not stopping with this. Walter Samuel (16/0), Dejan Stankovic (11/0), Diego Millito (19/12) and Ricardo Alvarez (14/1) are all unavailable for the game at "Velodrome" on Wednesday.

Home win

On the end of November Didier Deschamps was really close from getting fired, but in looks like the club made great decision by keeping him. Now the team looks a lot different and is still plating in four different tournaments. They are in really good form and also have the home advantage on Wednesday. Inter on other hand really looks like a team from Serie B right now. Ranieri just can`t find the right tactics for the team. Also he has to solve with the problems in the squad. Everything is pointing for a home victory and in my opinion Marseille have all the chance to take a good advantage before the second leg.
