Close to the mid-season first place

Ludogorets are first in the table and have to play against Kaliakra at home and CSKA away. The match against CSKA will be a big derby, but the three points against Kaliakra are a must, because they could give Ludogorets a lead in the table (CSKA are playing away to reigning champions Litex). The Razgrad side is developing very fast and is merciless on home soil. The 4:0 demolition of Lokomotiv Sofia was a pure example of how effective Ludogorets are and Brazilian playmaker Marcelinho was outstanding. There are a lot of classy players at Ludogorets and some more are expected during the winter break. Ludogorets are mistakeless on "Ludogorets Arena" so far, winning over Levski (2:1), Minyor (4:1), Montana (3:0) and Lokomotiv Sofia (4:0).

Showing signs of waking up

Kaliakra won over Beroe on 10th September but the team had a really awful period of games after that win. The Kavarna side lost to direct rivals Vidima-Rakovski, then drew at home with suffering Svetkavitsa, lost 3:0 to Slavia and lost 0:5 at home to Cherno More. The 3:2 loss to Levski was a bit more encouraging and it was followed by two draws - 0:0 with Botev Vratsa at home and 1:1 with Minyor away. Against Minyor Kaliakra didn`t actually deserve a point, as the Kavarna side wasn`t dangerous until the 60th minute. Still, this was the first away point for Kaliakra this season and it was won in the seventh try.

Ludogorets should have absolutely no problems

Minyor had no problems to lead the game against Kaliakra in the previous round but somehow the Pernik side didn`t win. Now Kaliakra are facing one much more classy opponent, that has some clinical finishers. The hosts know how important this game is and I expect a demolition job from Ludogorets.
