English Premier league match preview: Liverpool - Tottenham

Liverpool with a good presentation

Liverpool are coping well now with the return of Gerrard to full fitness, he has motivated the team in some difficult times. Despite losing to Bolton in an unbelieveable match, they got thow nice wins in a row and beat City in the cup on aggregate. Not a bad month for Dalglish. Also, they will have Suarez back who returns from suspension after eight matches sitting out. Only Lucas Leiva is injured.

Tottenham selling machine

Tottenham made some interesting choices in their shopping spree this winter. Letting go some younger players and bringing on old and experienced players could be an interesting thing, but not always so smart. Saha and Nelsean are in the team, while the club let go Bassong, Corluka and Pavlyuchenko out of the clubs by loan or transfer. Anyhow, Defoe, van der Vaart and Adebayor are huge doubts for this match, but I reckon at least two of them will play. Gallas and Huddlestone are injured, while Walker and King should make the squad.

Both teams will be motivated for this match as they come to them after nice wins in the midweek. Both teams won by confidence and raised their morale for this key match. Either of them loosing it ends their dreams probably: Liverpool`s for Champions league, while Tottenham`s for the title. Therefore, I reckon both teams will try for a win and the result will surely be lots of goals, as there always are in their matches.
