Boosted by the Carling Cup success

The Reds are coming at the back off a hard-fought second leg Carling Cup semi-final with Manchester City (2-2). Twice they had to come from behind, Craig Bellamy being the hero who send Liverpool to the Wembley final with his goal in the 74th minute. This is their first meeting since the Luis Suarez/Patrice Evra row in the Premier League 1-1 draw at Anfield in October.
