Half of the job done

Kuressaare won away to Tallinna Infonet in the first leg and now have to finish the job at home. The team was not bad at home in the Meistriliiga and was rarely losing with big margin. Pukk, Valmas and Ilves were the important players for the team in this campaign and they should be confident of ensuring a win and a further stay in the league. Paide (x2), Viljandi and Tammeka were beaten on this stadium and the biggest shame of the team were the draws with Ajax Lasnamae (Ajax won 3 of their 4 final points against Kuressaare).

Really strange-looking squad

Well, looking at the Tallinna Infonet` squad I can say that there is something really strange there. Playing coach Borissov is 42-year-old and it`s a curious fact that he scored an own-goal in the first leg. Top goalscorer Rotskov is 38-year-old, but was no obstacle for him to score 40 league goals for his team in Esiliiga. Defender Vinogradov is 42, backup goalie Andrejev is 49 (!) and in the same time there are players like Ogorodnik, Vastsuk, Avilov and Granovskis who are 16-year-old. Amazing. Lithuanian defender Voilenko received a red card in the first leg and shouldn`t participate in this game.

Kuressaare are the favourites

The hosts are the favourites here since they`ve played the whole season in the better league and also won the first leg. Talinna are just an amazing mix of players and would be curious to see them in the Meistriliiga, but their mission is looking impossible. Kuressare won`t miss the opportunity to win at home and to seal their place in the elite.
