Starting a new life without Furuholm

Striker Timo Furuholm left Turku for Fortuna Dusseldorf so now Inter have to find another goalscorer. Inter became vice-champions last year and the board should be happy with that achievement, cause HJK proved to be untouchable at the top. Some other players also left Inter during the break - defenders Kallio and Mantyla, midfielders Sanevuori, Scoppa and Makitalo and forwards Abramovic, Jonke and Osinachi. That meant that coach Dragtsma had to be active on the transfer market and he brought his compatriot Pim Bouwman from NAC Breda, as well as Georgian forward Irakli Sirbiladze and defenders Babacar Diallo from Dardanelspor and Michael Antunez. For the game against Jaro Dragtsma will be without defender Aho and midfielder Kaukko who were with the national team recently.

Quality players missing for this game

TPS Turku were left by defender Jere Uronen, who signed for Helsingborg. The loan deal of striker Roope Riski expired and he returned to Cesena, who lend him to Honefoss eventually. Njazi Kuqi, Floribert N`Galula and Niklas Tarvajarvi left the team before the end of season 2011. Internationals Mika Aaritalo (forward) and Toni Kolehmainen (midfielder) are unavailable for this game, because they were with the national team. That leaves TPS without much quality for the derby against Inter.

Inter should be the better side here

Both Inter and TPS are a lot weakened for this game in comparison with the quality they managed to offer in the last season. The guests have bigger problems, IMO, because they miss an attacker and a defensive midfielder and will hardly make up for them, while Inter will miss their right-back and their midfielder. Inter to win here is my call.
