Fighting for the first place in the autumn period

Last round in Bulgaria this autumn and all eyes are on the derby at the top. CSKA are entering this clash after winning 3:1 over Minyor, 0:2 over Litex and 0:1 over Slavia in the cup and will be looking to beat newcomers Ludogorets, who currently occupy the first place. The three points here will CSKA to the top and, of course, closer to their aim of winning the title. Romanian forward Ianis Zicu is in very good scoring form CSKA this season, netting 13 goals in 14 games - he is not shining with extraordinary running or so, he is just there where he has to be. Coach Dimitar Penev will probably field three defensive midfielders, just like he did in Lovech, while up front he has a big choice as Delev, Nelson, Michel and Moraes will fight for two spots. 5-0-1 for CSKA at home and 13:4 goal difference.

Excellent season so far for Ludogorets

Ludogorets are doing very well so far in the league, losing only to Litex. The newcomers also managed to eliminate Beroe from the cup, so the Razgrad continues fighting on 2 fronts. Coach Ivaylo Petev has a deep squad with a lot of quality players in it. Marcelinho, Gargorov, Stoyanov and Genchev will be the main threat for CSKA today, but we also have to pay homage to their defense, which kept a 10 clean sheets in the league and 1 in the cup.

Very tight match expected

Both teams will try to get the three points here and will probably be a bit cautious. Both CSKA and Ludogorets aren`t producing the best of quality of football they are capable of, but they are still winning points, so that`s important. In this match a lot of good players will play and a lot of scouts will be on the stands to watch, so the stakes here are high. Bulgarian derbies are becoming high-scoring these days, but I will choose the over 2.5 goals here, cause I don`t think we will see open football at least in the first half of the game.
