Still recovering after the awful start of the season

Beroe started the season in an awful manner, losing their 7 games. However, "Zaralii" had a great October, winning over Rakovski, Svetkavitsa and Slavia and drawing to Montana. But that was followed by losses to Cherno More and Levski and a draw to Botev Vratsa. Beroe are just above the relegation right now and their next match in the league is important (they face Minyor). As for the cup game against Ludogorets there is no doubt that Beroe will throw everything and will try to upset the current league leaders.

Petev calls for concentration

Ludogorets coach Ivailo Petev said that a cup failure would be a big upset for his boys. So we could expect a committed performance from the league leaders, who will face CSKA in the last autumn round. Before the season start owner Domuschiev said that his team is aiming for an Europa League spot, but with the current situation he could try to lure some classy players in the winter and try to steal the glory. Domuschiev recently admitted that his players are exhausted and need some rest, but only after the two (or three) remaining matches until the end of 2011.

A low-scoring game is very probable here

Ludogorets have already won in Stara Zagora and that`s a respectable achievement, because Beroe are a tough nut to crack, especially at home, especially with Ilian Iliev at their helm. The tiredness that Domuschiev talked about was felt in the last two Ludogorets games - against Chernomorets (0:0 away) and Kaliakra (2:0 home) where the team didn`t create many goalscoring opportunities. Beroe are rarely conceding a lot of goals at home and in the previous season we could see long streaks of games with 0 or 1 conceded goals. This season "Zaralii" conceded two goals at home against Ludogorets, Chernomorets and Levski, but I think they will be more careful here. Under 2.5 goals is valuable here.
