Victory in the last round

In the last round Barnsley obtained an important victory at Leicester. Barnsley won 2:1 as guest with two goals scored by Andy Gray. The Scotish international is better and better as the time goes on. He has scored 6 goals so far. "We feel we can achieve something this season," said Gray after the match. Together with Craig Davies (team best scorer with 9 goals), they are a powerful attacking duo. The manager Keith Hill has no special problems for this match. With Jacob Butterfield out for the season, Hill has almost all players available. Only Jim O`Brien is doubtful through injury.

In bad form

Millwall is in bad form at the moment. They are in series of three consecutive defeats, from Crystal Palace, Bristol City and Birmingham. The last one from Birmingham was really painful as they lost 0:6 at home. In the meantime they managed to win against Dagenham & Red in FA Cup, but that victory can`t be overestimate as the opponent is two division lower team. It is clear the manager Kenneth Jackett will have many problems in the next period.

Barnsley should win

I expect Barnsley to win. First of all, they are in better form. I already wrote they obtained an important away victory at Leicester in the last round. On contrary, Millwall lost 0:6 from Birmingham in the last round. However, there is something more. Two important defenders are suspended for Millwall. Both Shane Lowry and Alan Dunne were dismissed during Saturday`s defeat by Birmingham City and received three match bans. And the best goalscorer Darius Henderson (9 goals) is injured. He has missed the last couple of matches with double problem - first hamstring, then hip injury. In situation like this I expect another defeat for Millwall.
