Solid at home

Ascoli is into the relegation zone and this match is extremely important for them. However, a victory here will see them in the safe place. The key striker Pape Waigo N`Diaye (played all 26 games and scored 11 goals) is ready, just as other key players. Only the midfielder Vitiello is out. However, it is important to be mentioned that Ascoli won the last two home games, against Nocerina and Gubio.

Without two key players

Grosseto have big problems in front of this game. First of all, their form isn`t good at the moment. They have two defeats and only one draw in the last three rounds. Additionally, two key players are suspended. One of them is the best striker Ferdinando Sforzini, the team leading goalscorer with 11 goals. The other is Nicola Marcino, the influential midfielder. It is clear Grosseto will be very handicapped without them.

Hosts should win

I expect Ascoli to win. They improved the home form with two victories in the last two home games. On other side Grosseto current form is bad, they have two defeats and one draw in the last three matches. However, the absence of two key players for Grosseto is the key reason for my pick. As I already wrote above, the best scorer Sforzini and the midfielder Marcino are suspended. In situation like this I expect Ascoli to win.
