Yes, the Magpies axed their manager, Martin Allen that saved the club from relegation last season after doing the same with Barnet before that. Seems that the first English football club in the history, Notts County, wanted much more from this season and just 2 victories in last 11 matches were not enough. The defeat 0-3 to Hartlepool added too much misery and the club decided to let go the manager. Instead of him they brought the 48 years old, Keith Curle, ex assistant manager of Neil Warnock at QPR. Notts County haven’t been great so far at home, but managed some draws with top teams like Huddersfield and MK Dons. But if we look deeper, none of these sides are in a good form at the moment. Notts County doesn’t have problems in the squad from the absentee’s point of view, but what names will form the first XI remains to be seen.
