After two consecutive defeats away against Moenchengladbach and Leverkusen, Mainz managed to gain three points in last round. They have defeated last placed Freiburg and now they can breath a bit easier, but there is no place for some relaxed play as they are just three points away from relegation zone. So, a defeat at Weltins-Arena could bring them in big troubles. Mainz will miss a lot of players for this match as Allagui, Risse, Svensson, Schonheim, Gopko and Bell are all unavailable. Although they have only one win away from home, Mainz scored 12 and conceded 15 goals which is not so bad when compared to their wins account.
