Bad at home

Wigan is desperate at home so it wouldn’t be weird if they score a third defeat in a row on their field. Even though they are 16th in the standings they are playing like they are the last team in the league. There has been a change of the goalkeeper because of the injury of Chris Kirkland, and his substitution hasn’t showed anything good. Vladimir Stojkovic conceded 8 goals in four matches which wouldn’t be so bad for some team but for Wigan is catastrophic. Circkland is back now but that doesn’t necessary mean the things will go better. Good news is that Captain Melchiot is also back in the team. I think that this will be really tough match for them.

They are undefeated this year

Stoke City is playing really good, and on higher level then expected. They are undefeated in the New Year and they are doing great, but maybe that is because they played almost all games from start of the New Year at home. They are less efficient and a bit weaker as guests then at home. Stoke City doesn’t have any trouble with injuries but I think that coach will experiment with the team. I think that Stoke will score three new points because they are better and in a very good mood.

Guests better

Guests are better team in this match, they are undefeated this new year, and it is interesting that they played only one game as guests out of six, but these good results don’t necessary mean victory. Wigan is in bad form, they have 2 defeats in a row at home and as guests this week they played a draw. I think that in this match will be more than 2.5 goals which is my suggestion, because Stoke’s attackers are getting better and better from game to game. Good luck…
