Not too successful

Peter Luczak is already 30 years old and he hasn`t really achieved much in his career, while in the recent years he rarely defeated anybody decent. Ernests Gulbis is one of the biggest underachievers on the tour as this guy used to be a huge talent as a junior, claimed as one of the biggest ones in his generation but he most often failed to live up to the expectations and didn`t deliver the results everybody expected from him in his native Latvia and the tennis world in general. Everybody who watches Gulbis can notice this player has got great potential, he`s got a powerful serve, strong forehand, but he is simply too lazy with his feet, having a poor movement on the court, and often lacks to put in the effort required to make a winning point. That is what separates him from the top players and it`s really not clear when he`ll finally start working harder and if he ever will. Gulbis could easily win

The question here really is, does Gulbis want to play serious or he wants to continue fooling around in his career and keep on wasting his enormous talent? I think one of the upcoming tournies could really mark his season to say the least, and if he doesn`t take chances such as this one, then I will really start to question his mental stability as the Latvian has got a lot of quality in his game, which couldn`t be said for Luczak, who is simply limited. The Australian is everything Gulbis isn`t, a great fighter, but also a player who would probably be in the top 10 if he possessed Gulbis` talents. Right now I think Gulbis surely has the strength to resolve this in straight sets and finally show a solid performance but due to his well-known mental instability and lack of effort, I will not go with max stakes.
