Potito Starace is a very unpredictable tennis player and a guy who can give a hard time to anyone but can also lose to some totally anonymous player on a bad day. He is really playing hot-cold this season but he can surely play decent tennis, especially on clay as he is not much of a hard-courter anyway. He hasn`t done too well this season but he certainly possesses the potential to play good tennis, and he did defeat many serious players this season such as Gil, Kubot, Hernandez, and he did show some improvements in form when he played in Morocco a few weeks ago, reaching the semis there, barely losing to Wawrinka, while he disappointed everyone in Barcelona last week when he lost to his today`s opponent Hajek in the first round. Last year he got eliminated in the first round of Rome to solid clay-courter Montanes, but this time around he will try to earn some more ATP points and win at least one match in front of his countrymen, so I am confident he will give his best. online betting

Here I see a perfect chance for Starace to play one good match in front of the home crowd and revenge for the embarrassing loss he suffered vs. Hajek last week in Barcelona. Starace does have the tendency to occasionally take it a bit easier and underestimate his opponents, and this time around I think that won`t be the case and he will play serious and focused from the start. He`s faced Hajek many times in his career but never in such an important match for him as this one, so I think we`re ought to see the best of the Italian, who will definitely be the more motivated player.
